Cuddle Therapy 🫀

Cosy red blankets and soft bedding representing somatic cuddle therapy for LGBTQ+ bodies and queer men seeking healing touch and emotional support

Sometimes the deepest healing happens when we're simply held

In a world that teaches us to carry everything alone, cuddle therapy offers radical permission
to be supported. Just the profound medicine of human warmth, fully clothed, completely safe.

Who This Serves

  • Bodies recovering from touch starvation, relationship endings, or medical procedures

  • Neurodivergent minds seeking support with their nervous systems

  • Anyone carrying the weight of always being the one who holds others

    All sizes and shapes embraced.
    Trans bodies honoured.

Your Journey

🫀Arrival & Attunement
Building our cosy cuddle burrow, we discuss limits and needs, alongside tools for you to modulate your experience (peaceful to playful, verbal to non-verbal…) at any time. We can then eye gaze, hold hands, or sit back-to-back and breathe.

🫀Somatic Holding
Moving through various positions of support (spooning, cradled sitting, head-in-lap…) I invite you deeper into your body through sustained contact, finding moments of rest that feel delicious for you, listening for what is most alive.

🫀Integrative Rest
We end in deep rest, with the option of an improvised poem (a short bed-time story made just for you) as you breathe in what you have just moved, empowering your system to carry this ease (and oxytocin) back into daily life.

Potential Pathways: How We Might Explore

  • Grief & Transition Support
Sometimes we need arms around us while we fall apart, holding whatever arises with complete acceptance. Rebuilding body-trust. Surrendering to being held without having to earn it.

  • Embodying Consent
“Accepting” and “taking” the touch you need. Gaining confidence to explore within clear limits and in deep innocence. Courage to receive nourishing touch as pure gift.

  • Developmental Patterns
Tapping into early movement memories through Bartenieff fundamentals. Star-fishing, spiralling, rolling into new points of cuddle-contact. Remembering our pot-bellied scientist.

Don't worry about choosing the "right" pathway. Each session unfolds organically, responding to whatever your unique system needs in the moment. Trust that the right exploration will find you.

Commitment to Safety

  • Trauma-informed. This touch honours the body's wisdom, including its protective responses. We move at a pace that feels safe for your nervous system.

  • Consent is key. You remain fully empowered to direct, pause, or shift the experience at any time.

  • Clear boundaries. Professional standards are maintained while embracing authentic connection. Before booking, we'll discuss exactly what the session entails and establish clear agreements.
