Self-Pleasure Ritual
for All Genders 📿
Touch Song™
Healing together. Exploring alone.
Touch Song™ is a 3-hour ritual container for reclaiming a relationship with pleasure through conscious solo practice. Beyond fantasy, beyond performance, beyond shame, we enter the somatic reality of the body, building skills for erotic improvisation.
All gender expressions, sexualities, and bodies are warmly welcomed in this guided space where vulnerability is cherished and protected. Invite your self-pleasure patterns to shift in a safe circle of loving witness. Seduce yourself slow in an expansive rehearsal of discovery, in the comfort of your home.
"Change the way you masturbate. Change your life."
– Joseph Kramer
✧ Why I created Touch Song™ ✧
After healing years of compulsive sexual seeking through committed study in conscious embodiment (learn more →), I felt a calling to craft grounded communal spaces where others could come home to their bodies, using pleasure as a doorway to somatic wisdom.
Like the consciousness-raising circles of Betty Dodson in the 70s, this guided practice helps reshape patterns of disconnection learned in isolation while maintaining personal sovereignty. My approach is refreshingly straightforward: creating the container where what naturally wants to happen within our various bodies can finally breathe.
I serve as a kind of "masturbation flight attendant," gesturing to the aisles of embodiment, centring safety, reminding you to prioritise your own breath first… By learning to have better sex with ourselves, we create the foundation for better connections with others and wiser wielding of erotic energy in our world.
“For years, my relationship with self-pleasure has been a rollercoaster. I wanted to see what a guided meditation approach would open up. Throughout the ritual, I felt a deep state of being with my body in ways I haven’t touched since I first started pleasuring myself... At various stages, I forgot I was around other people. When I opened my eyes and saw others, I felt supported in my process – an individual tendril within a collective mycelial experience.”
Your Touch Song™ ritual unfolds across three movements:
🫀 TUNING THE INSTRUMENT:
Reclaiming resources, shedding layers, witnessing with compassion🫀 MAPPING THE MELODY:
Erotic body scan, shaping energy through breath and touch🫀 BECOMING THE MUSIC:
Transforming limiting beliefs, embodying the choir of your desires✧
Throughout, I weave spontaneous reflections on what I’m witnessing in the shared field of our ritual space. This includes improvised material on somatic principles, anatomy, and developmental movement pathways for you to layer into your explorations.
“I’ve always intended to go to a workshop in a love temple or similar space, but never made it. The self touch helped soften barriers around judgement and worries around consent... And it worked! The next day I joined a partner-touch workshop.”

✧ Preparing for Your Touch Song™ Journey ✧
Creating the conditions for a profound experience begins before you arrive. Consider these suggestions as invitations to deepen your ritual:
For Online Participants:
Avoid heavy meals 2 hours before, but stay hydrated
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes that are easy to remove
Create a sacred space where you won't be disturbed
Test your audio setup before the session begins
Prepare your space with soft lighting, comfortable support, music, and a blanket
Have water nearby and consider temperature comfort
Set up a "re-entry" area separate from your practice space for after the ritual
Release expectations and arrive with beginner's mind
All participants are encouraged to spend a few minutes in reflection before the ritual, considering:
What is your intention for this practice? What are you willing to release to make space for new experience?
FAQs
-
🌑 Is this a sexual space?
While the container honours and celebrates erotic energy, this is not a space for dating, passive voyeurism, nor performance for others' arousal. Bodies share space while honouring spatial and energetic boundaries. Please be mindful when using the chat function to use I-statements and keep questions and statements focused on your own learning experience. If you cannot respect the boundaries of the work we are doing here, you will be removed from the stream.🌑 Is this therapy?
While therapeutic, this is not therapy. This is educational, somatic work focused on personal ritual, habit formation, and embodiment practice.🌑 What happens if I become emotional during the ritual?
Emotional release is natural and welcomed as part of the journey. The container is designed to hold all authentic expressions that arise. You'll be guided in tools for self-regulation, and you can rest at any moment to process. There is no expectation to "perform" any particular emotional experience. -
🌑 What level of nudity is involved?
In the in-person circle, we create a safe space where participants can either be completely naked, or clothing adjustments happen beneath blankets, maintaining comfort while allowing access for self-touch. The somatics of undressing is a key transition into this ritual container. The online format provides the option of complete privacy in your own space.🌑 What if my eyes wander?
Freeing the eyes from shame-based conditioning can be profoundly healing, especially for queer bodies who have often had to hide their desires. Whilst reciprocal compassionate witnessing is welcome in the space, the practice here remains focused on tending to our own sensations rather than fixating on external imagery or fantasy. We are here to raise consciousness around normative sexual thinking that leaves many objectifying other bodies and their own.🌑 What if I don't experience arousal or orgasm?
Touch Song™ is about reconnecting with your body's wisdom, not achieving specific outcomes. Many participants find profound value in the experience without conventional arousal or orgasm. The practice honours whatever arises authentically in your body. -
🌑 Do I need previous experience?
Not at all. Just a desire to release shame and rediscover pleasure.
🌑 I'm a straight man. Is this space appropriate for me?
Absolutely. Touch Song™ welcomes all gender expressions and sexualities, including straight men. Many male-identified participants find this container particularly valuable for exploring pleasure beyond performance and achievement-oriented patterns. The structure provides clear boundaries that help men discover new dimensions of their embodied sexuality.🌑 I have physical limitations or chronic pain. Can I still participate?
Absolutely. Touch Song™ is designed to meet you where you are. All explorations are offered as invitations that can be modified for your body's needs.
“The space felt effortless yet aware, with Shaun’s voice and presence as a stabilising force inviting me to stay in choice. Unlike other sex ritual spaces I’ve experienced, this one felt guided by devotion. The grief wave that came through in orgasm felt like a huge movement of energy, honesty, and power. Since the container, I’ve practiced moving much slower, with less urgency. The whole experience was an immersion into creative erotic innocence – an embodied reference point for me to orient with, making old stories about sex and the erotic less important.”
